This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

A review for the PAD THAI. It was some of the best I’ve had. I ordered it with chicken, tofu, medium spice, and extra egg. At first I thought it was on the pricier side for a take away place but once I picked up the order I realized just how much food was in my one β€œlittle” to go box. So much. It was the perfect level of spice (a little tingle of the lips but not so much that I couldn’t finish my portion), a nice amount of carrots and bean sprouts a well.

I’m orginally from Laos and some of my family is thai. The papaya salad was ordered at a 5 spicy and it tasted like mangos with no spice. The chicken wings were great. panang curry was great had good flavor tasted like it had been burnt watery after taste and smelled like tap water. crab rangoon was good. Disappointed

Best Pad Kee Maow I’ve had in years. It’s fresh and so flavorful. It’s so hard to find good authentic food. This place is a gem, definitely recommend!

I got the red curry, mango sticky rice, chicken satay skewers, and drunken noodles. The curry was okay. I would get it again with another protein. I got shrimp for my protein which costs more than chicken but my curry only had 3 pieces of shrimp in it. It was my first time having drunken noodles so I’m not sure if this place is the best for it. I prefer pad see ew. A plus for this place is they put a lot of veggies in their food. I wanted to write this review because I’ve never had chicken satay skewers like this. Do NOT order it. Horrible. Mango sticky rice was okay. Not worth 8.50 imo.

I have dined at Bamboo Thai Kitchen twice and have been very happy with both experiences. The restaurant somewhat small-ish and it is almost always full (which is a good sign!). Menu is pretty pared down but there is a good variety of meat, seafood and vegetarian options, and almost everything we ordered were prepared with care. Also if you order spicy it shall be SPICY but in a good, addictive spicy way. The curries have excellent, authentic taste. Papaya salad is also yum but it's prepared pretty authentically so it may have a funky smell to people who are not used to shrimp/fish paste. This is one of my top choices for Thai food in C-bus.
